What are the deposit methods used in Elamant?

This is a frequent question I get asked by team members, and with good reason. When joining something, it is always good to know your options. Therefore after you can make an informed decision on which method suits you best.

There are three ways to make a payment to Elamant for your membership. These are:

  • Credit/Debit card.

    • Using your VISA or Master card, the Elamant site will prompt you to a page where you will fill in your card details.
        • The digits on the front of your card.
        • The expiry date of your card.
        • The security code of your card (the three [3] last digits on the back of your card – CVV).
  • Blockchain/Bitcoin.

    • You will simply use Bitcoin to pay your joining fee.
        • Click on the link to understand more about how to use Bitcoin.
  • Elamant E-pass.

    • This is an enrolment pass/passcode.
    • These are generated from existing members’ earnings.
    • That member will then pay for your membership once you have paid them in cash, e-wallet, etc. whatever method of payment you are both comfortable with.

With that said, people usually like to pay for their membership in person. This is because using a credit/debit card and Bitcoin transactions come with an added service charge and buying a pass from a person does not.

NOTE: Only buy a pass/passcode from someone you know, like, and trust.

Conclusion

That’s about the jist of it when it comes to depositing methods used on Elamant. Please NOTE, E-passes are the most common and stable method used. The others are subject to change at any time.  In my other article, I shared about how I got started with Elamant in Zimbabwe you can read about that here.
